Question
How are results with decimals exported through modbus with an EZ series analyzer?
Summary
Explanation of how results with decimals are exported with EZ series analyzers.
Answer
The EZ series analyzers are not able to send decimals through modbus protocols. Instead the result would be multiplied by a factor, usually 100 for common 0-1 ppm applications. The outgoing signal would then need to be divided by the same factor on the receiving equipment in order to restore the result to it's normal form and resolution.
