Question
How are the analog 4-20 mA outputs calibrated on the CL17 analyser?
Summary
CL17 output calibration
Answer
1.) Remove the output wires from the circuit board and use a multi-meter to measure directly on the pins on the board.
2.) Press MENU, scroll down to SETUP, and press ENTER.
3.) Scroll down to REC ADJUST and press enter to modify the Recorder Minimum and Recorder Maximum values. Use this feature to offset the 4 mA or 20 mA output signal while forcing a zero or a full scale signal.  Use the RIGHT and LEFT ARROW keys to select RECMIN or RECMAX then use the UP and DOWN ARROW keys to adjust the value. The enter key will be used to select.
5.) Press EXIT to accept changes and return to SETUP.

Note: a 4 mA signal will yield an A/D count of around 178, while a 20 mA signal will yield an A/D count of around 909.
