Question
If a TNTplus® vial is used to create a user-entered program on a Hach spectrophotometer, will the barcode interfere with accessing the program?
Summary
TNTplus® vial for user-entered program
Answer
If a TNTplus® vial is used to create a user-entered program on a Hach spectrophotometer, the barcode will not interfere with accessing the desired user program. Hach spectrophotometers that are equipped with a barcode reader for TNTplus® chemistries will not attempt to read the barcode if the user program is started prior to inserting the vial into the instrument. If the vial is inserted into the instrument from the main menu, the spectrophotometer, if equipped with a barcode reader, will automatically read the barcode and begin the Hach program.
