Question
Do calibrators need to be tested with each sample run, or can calibrator values be reused during an immunoassay procedure?
Summary
The reuse of calibrators in an immunoassay.
Answer
Calibrators should not be reused. The absorbance values are temperature and technique sensitive. As a result, it is recommended to test calibrators with each new sample set. If you run the sample at a later time of the day than your calibrators, the temperature may have changed and the results you received on your calibrators may not be relavant.
