Question
What can be done to troubleshoot a module comm fail in the APA6000 analyser?
Summary
Module comm fail in the APA6000 analyser troubleshooting.
Answer
A module comm fail in the APA6000 (valve comm fail, burette1 comm fail, mixer comm fail, detector comm fail) are caused by a failed communication between the analyser and one of the internal modules.

Power down the analyser, and disconnect and reconnect the wiring harness that comes from the main board to the u-board near the module repeatedly.  Then power up the analyser.  If the issue was caused by corrosion on this wire harness connector, this should clear the error.

If the error still exists, power the analyser down again, and remove the module. Inspect the pin connections of the module for corrosion. Unplug and replug the module repeatedly.  Then power up the analyser.  If the issue was caused by corrosion on this module connector, this should clear the error.

If neither of these actions clear the error, call technical support at 800-227-4224.
