The following are the basic steps for configuring one of the (2) native 4-20 mA outputs on an SC200 controller for a linear response to the measurement from the connected sensor:

1) From the HOME screen, press MENU

2) Scroll to SC200 SETUP menu, and press ENTER

3) Scroll to OUTPUT SETUP, and press ENTER

4) Select OUTPUT 1 or OUTPUT 2 (whichever output is being wired), and press ENTER

5) Scroll to “SELECT SOURCE”, and press ENTER

6) Select the sensor (by name or serial number) that this analog output should represent, and press ENTER

7) Select SET PARAMETER, and press ENTER

8) Select the measured value (example: pH or Temp) from the sensor that this analog output should represent, and press ENTER

9) Select SET FUNCTION and choose LINEAR CONTROL, then press ENTER

10) Scroll to ACTIVATION, and press ENTER

11) Select SET LOW VALUE and press ENTER

12) Using the arrow keys, enter the measured value (example: 0 pH) that will be represented by a 4 mA signal, then press ENTER

13) Scroll down to select SET HIGH VALUE, and press ENTER

14) Using the arrow keys, enter the measured value (example: 14 pH) that will be represented by a 20 mA signal, then press ENTER

15) The output is now configured, return to the main measurement screen and verify that the output has been wired correctly (refer to the SC200 Controller user manual section “ Analog Output Connections ” for wiring instructions).
