Question
What does the PAT700 4-20mA Bottle Mode actually do and what are the limitations?
Summary
PAT700 4-20 mA Output
Answer
Enabling this mode in the Analog 4-20mA settings menu of the PAT700 will send the bottle results from the bottle ports or auto sampler to the 4-20mA outputs of the instrument. The 4-20mA will be updated after each sample, not after bottle completion and will not send bottle averages. If the bottle mode encounters an error or alarm, the outputs will not send a 22mA signal even if this option is enabled in the 4-20mA output settings. The 22mA output on error is only for the online functions.
