Question
What is the 4-20mA output tolerance acceptable for Anatel instrumentation?
Summary
Anatel 643, A1000 and PAT700 Output Tolerance
Answer
The ANSI standard 50.00.01-1975 (R2012) states transmitters have an allowable output error of 0.25% of the maximum signal. This gives a maximum error of 0.05mA. Note: This is for all Anatel instrumentation. The 4-20 outputs are not able to be calibrated in the field. If it does not fall within the +/- 0.05mA, then the analyser will need to be sent in to bench service.
