Summary
Difference between the two arsenic test kits

Arsenic Test Kits
Answer
Hach offers two arsenic test kits:  Arsenic, Low Range Test Kit Catalog Number 2800000 and EZ Arsenic High Range Test Kit Catalog Number 2822800.  These kits differ in concentration range, complexity, performance, and the arsenic form they can measure.

Provided below are the differences between the test kits listed out:

Arsenic, Low Range Test Kit Catalog Number 2800000:
-Concentration range of the kit: 0-500 ppb As, Steps 0, 10, 30, 50, 70, 300, 500 ppb.
-Complexity: Five reagents included in the reagent set.
-Performance: Reagent set able to compensate for high concentrations of Sulfide >5ppm. Excellent recovery of As+5 (100%).
-Arsenic form measured is inorganic arsenic and total organic arsenic with digestion.
-Digestion instructions are included in the test kit instructions.

EZ High Range Test Kit Catalog Number 282280:
-Concentration ranges: 0-500 ppb As, Steps 0, 10, 25, 50, 250, 500 ppb and 0-4000 ppb As, Steps 0, 35, 75, 175, 1500, 4000 ppb.
-Complexity: Two reagents included in the reagent set.
-Performance: Sulfide is an interference at >15ppb. Recovers 90% of As+5.
-Arsenic form measured is inorganic arsenic and total organic arsenic with digestion.
-The kit does not include digestion instructions for organic arsenic.
